Do I need to buy a domain first?
Yes. Buy the domain from any domain provider, then connect it to your store in Settings. Kampe does not sell domains.
Can I use yourbrand.co.ug without the www?
The connection uses CNAME records, which a bare domain cannot take, so connect www.yourbrand.co.ug or a name like shop.yourbrand.co.ug instead.
How long does it take to go live?
Often a few minutes after you add the two records. Some domain providers take longer to publish changes, and Kampe keeps checking until they appear.
Is the SSL certificate included?
Yes. Kampe issues it for your domain automatically, so your store shows the secure padlock with nothing extra to buy.
